Tenants who live here are required to be more independent in terms of managing living skills such as cooking, cleaning and managing medication. The tenants in this service are supported by staff in our other service, offering a ‘floating’ type service, ‘The Haven’.
The service offers a person-centered approach to mental health and wellbeing, positively focusing on helping tenants to achieve life goals to help them improve and manage their mental health and wellbeing.
Tenants have access to a staff team who provide support for their mental health needs. There is also a full range of services available through the Community Mental Health Teams and community/day services, which is integrated into the service delivery.
Tenants are encouraged to become involved in volunteering, work and social activities.
Belfast Health and Social Care Trust
The service is funded by NIHE through Housing Benefit and the Supporting People programme
Referrals are received from the Community Mental Health Teams.
