Tenancy Bridge Builder – (Inverary)

Location:  Inverary House, 14 Inverary Avenue, Belfast, BT4 1RN

Hours: 32.5 hours per week,

Starting Salary: £24,684.40 (Band 3)

 Duration: Fixed Term for 2 years until 31st October 2027

Closing date: 12 noon, Tuesday 16th September 2025

The Tenancy Bridge Builder supports clients in securing and transitioning into independent accommodation. They play a key role in helping individuals settle into their new permanent homes, while providing ongoing support to promote tenancy stability and reduce the risk of future homelessness.

The Tenancy Bridge Builder will deliver a personalised transition programme, ensuring each client receives structured, tailored support as they move from temporary accommodation into a permanent home. Beyond facilitating this transition, the role focuses on equipping clients with the essential skills and knowledge to sustain long-term tenancy stability.

What we ask for from you:

  • QCF Diploma Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete the Diploma in Coaching for Mental Health and Wellbeing.
  • Able to demonstrate a minimum 2 years’ recent experience providing support to individuals experiencing homelessness in a paid position.
  • Must have a sound understanding of the social care needs of people experiencing difficulties with sustaining tenancies including those experiencing mental health difficulties.
  • An understanding of Homelessness issues including mental health & addiction.
  • NISCC Registration or eligible to be registered from commencement of role.
  • Ability to work a flexible pattern, which may include evenings, weekends, bank and public holidays.
  • Ability to demonstrate alignment with MindWise’s core values of Passion, Respect, Empathy, Togetherness, Openness & Transparency.
