Hours: 20 Hours per week (flexible working options can be discussed with the successful candidate(s)

Starting Salary: £15,646.40

Duration: Fixed term contract until 30th June 2027

The Wellness service offers an individualised 1-1 WRAP Programme to support and help manage difficult feelings and develop action plans to help them improve mood. As Team Lead you will be leading on referral management, service reporting and supervision of Wellness Workers.

The Wellness Service provides person-centred wellbeing support to children aged 5-12 years old, adults, and families to help manage difficult feelings, build resilience, and develop practical strategies to improve emotional wellbeing. As Wellness Team Lead, you will provide leadership and oversight of service delivery, including referral management, staff supervision and support, service reporting, quality assurance, and the coordination of wellbeing programmes for children, individuals, and families. The role also involves supporting partnership working, ensuring effective service outcomes, and promoting a responsive, compassionate, trauma-informed, strengths-based approach across the team to improve wellbeing outcomes for children, adults, and families.

What we ask for from you:

  • A minimum of a Level 3 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent, including QCF/RQF Level 3 qualifications
  • Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) training completed or willing to complete on commencement in role.
  • Must have at least one years’ experience of directly working with children, young people and/or families
  • Must have at least one year’s experience of supervising staff and/or volunteers
  • Experience of working in partnership with statutory agencies and voluntary/community sector organisations
  • Must be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate alignment with MindWise’s core values of Passion, Respect, Empathy, Togetherness, Openness & Transparency
