Mental Health Support Worker – Housing (Floating Support)
Location: Antrim and Ballymena Area
Hours: 20 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Starting Salary: £13,988.27
Closing date: 12 noon, Monday 28th September 2026

Support and empower people affected by mental health issues live their best lives, underpinned by the recovery model.
Support people affected by mental ill health to get the right support early and encourage everyone to take up physical health activities, healthy eating programs and physical health screening, where appropriate.
The key purpose of the of the role is to provide a safe, supportive, and stable environment for people experiencing mental health issues, so that they can maintain their tenancy, improve their quality of life, reduce their social isolation and become active citizens in their local community

NB: Whilst this role is based within the Community and Floating support service, which operates Mon-Sunday 8am-8pm, staff in our estates based housing services are required to work on a shift rota basis, to meet the needs of the clients and the service, and this can include weekends, bank/public holidays, waking nights where the service provides 24-hour cover, lone working and if required sleeping nights.
