Service Manager (Community) Belfast & Downpatrick

Location:  Belfast & SEHSCT (Downpatrick)

Hours: 30 hours per week – (15 hours – Belfast, 15 hours – Downpatrick)

Starting Salary: £31,604 pro rata for part-time.

Duration: Fixed term contract until 31st March 2026.

As Service Manager you will ensure the quality-of-service delivery and provision daily to meet the needs and expectations of service users, carers, stakeholders, and the organisation itself. You will be responsible for line management of the staff based in the service as well as day to day running of the service, in relation to maintaining quality standards administration, service-related financial management, liaison with Statutory Agencies and regulatory bodies.

You will actively represent the values of passion, respect, empathy and openness and transparency, setting, and reinforcing the standard for positive behaviours at all levels. 

The MindWise Competency Framework outlines the behaviours that are essential to effective performance. The Competencies relevant to this role are set out for everyone and in Level 2 of the Framework for this post.

What we ask for from you:

  • QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • You must also have at least two years practice experience in a mental health setting.
  • Must have at least two years’ experience of managing a service including managing a staff team.
  • One year’s experience of managing a Community Based Service.
  • NISCC Registration or eligible to be registered from commencement of role.
  • Ability to demonstrate alignment with MindWise’s core values of Passion, Respect, Empathy, Togetherness, Openness & Transparency.
