Our Talking Therapies interventions at MindWise are delivered by highly skilled and experienced Associate Therapists and Coaches. We offer a competitive rate which reflects the current market environment and is tailored to the service or project that is being delivered, offering higher rates for our specialist services.
MindWise has over 30 therapists, highly skilled in counselling, coaching and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies who are trained and experienced to work with a wide diversity of individuals, from young people aged 11 years up to anyone over 18 years.
All MindWise Therapists are self employed, known as Associate Therapists, who sign an agreement and go through a detailed induction process before being offered Tier 2 client delivery services.
MindWise offers a competitive sessional rate, which differs depending on the contracted service or privately-funded project, such as our WiseTalking service for Young People.
We will register all therapists with Powerdiary, our online digital diary management system, which is free to all therapists and features many useful functions, such as SMS messaging and online diary planning. Therapists are supported by our Clinical Lead and the administration team, who guide them through processes, source available venues for session delivery and ensure they are up to date on all organisation policies and procedures.

We require all our counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapists to be registered with BACP, IACP or NCPS, with some contracts requiring accreditation (or working towards accreditation) with at least 150 hours post qualifying experience. Our coaches must be EMCC accredited and possess an advanced diploma in Coaching for Mental Health & Wellbeing (or equivalent relevant course). We require all our Therapists and Coaches to have undertaken Safeguarding Training and any other relevant topics which may be stipulated by the commissioner or funder. You must also demonstrate your knowledge of the self-care model and evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
We are always keen to invite new Therapists and Coaches to apply for positions in our team when they become available. We cannot always guarantee regular work, depending on what contracts we have and funds secured, and certain months are much busier than others! But we work hard to ensure all therapists on our register are offered suitable clients in their chosen locations.
If you are interested in joining our dedicated team of highly skilled Therapists and Coaches, we would love to hear from you! Simply complete the online expression of interest form and we will be in touch to advise you what we have available and our up to date sessional rates. Remember to make sure you have
