Coaching is currently available to anyone aged 18 and above, living in Northern Ireland. We are able to provide coaching to individuals who can self-fund or whose employer can support them financially. We also have a unique wellbeing coaching service available free of charge to people who are living with cancer.
You can take as many or as few coaching sessions as you feel you need and these can take place weekly, fortnightly or monthly. MindWise will ask you to pay for blocks of three sessions at a time and you will be assigned an EMCC registered coach . It is important to allow time to build a rapport with your coach and get to know each other. Your coach will carefully help you understand your own goals and support you to navigate pathways to reach these goals.
Your employer may support you to attend coaching sessions by covering costs and allowing you time off work, if they feel this would enhance your personal and professional development as well as improve your wellbeing and overall health. Coaching is an excellent intervention to help staff adjust in a new role, deal with changes in the team dynamics or change in management structures.
MindWise is working in partnership with Macmillan Cancer to offer free coaching support to people who are living with a diagnosis of cancer. MindWise can offer coaching interventions to individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer, either recently or in their past, on a one-to-one basis as well as group coaching with their loved ones in a small group setting. MindWise is also offering peer support coaching sessions to specific groups of people who have been diagnosed with cancer and are keen to meet with others going through a similar journey.
