Today, MindWise is proud to launch our Braver & Bolder Strategy 2026–2031, a renewed commitment to challenging convention with courage and care, and to driving meaningful change in mental health across Ireland.
This strategy reflects months of listening, learning and collaborating with the people who matter most: our clients, carers, families, volunteers, staff, partners, funders and policy‑makers. Their insights, experiences and aspirations have shaped this ambitious roadmap for the years ahead.
At its core, our strategy reinforces what has guided MindWise since the beginning:
Mental Health is Everyone’s Business.
Our vision remains unchanged but more important than ever:
A world where mental health and wellbeing is everyone’s business.
We know that mental health challenges continue to rise, that gaps in support persist, and that individuals, families and communities across Ireland deserve more. Our strategy sets out how MindWise will respond to these needs through sustainable growth, high‑quality services, and continued leadership in the mental health sector.
The strategy is anchored in four core pillars that reflect who we are and how we work:
These pillars guide every service, partnership and decision we make. They ensure dignity, safety, empowerment and meaningful involvement are at the heart of our approach.
Over the next five years, MindWise will focus on four key goals:
Delivering high‑quality services, education and advocacy — and influencing policy and practice across Ireland.
Supporting and developing our staff and volunteers, and upholding best practice standards across the organisation.
Strengthening our systems, data and technology to deliver better outcomes for more people.
Expanding our reach, evidencing impact and investing in innovative solutions that respond to unmet need.
These goals will guide our work as we support individuals and families across the lifespan — from early years through older adulthood — and create stronger, more connected communities.
We encourage you to read our new strategy and learn more about the actions we will take to support more people, strengthen partnerships, and make mental health a priority across Ireland.

This strategy will only be realised through collaboration, with individuals, families, communities, organisations and policy‑makers.
By working together, we can push mental health higher on the public agenda, break down barriers, and ensure people get the support they need, when they need it.
