MindWise and Direct Medics Launch Four-Year Partnership to Champion Mental Health and Wellbeing

Tue, 02 - December - 2025

MindWise is proud to announce the launch of a transformative four-year partnership with Direct Medics, representing an investment of £200,000, aimed at strengthening mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and delivering meaningful community impact. This collaboration reflects Direct Medics’ commitment to social value by investing in initiatives that elevate wellbeing and embed a culture of care across their organisation and beyond.

The partnership was launched with the symbolic Mindful Tree, an interactive activity inviting Direct Medics staff to share their expectations for both MindWise and Direct Medics. These reflections, written on labels and hung on the tree, will serve as a living reminder of our shared goals and accountability throughout the journey. The Mindful Tree will evolve as the partnership grows, ensuring we remain focused on doing the best for each other.

Through this collaboration, MindWise Insight Learning and Support will be available to all Direct Medics staff, offering training opportunities designed to enhance wellbeing and resilience. This initiative will empower staff with tools to support themselves and others, fostering a workplace culture where mental health is prioritised.

Anne-Marie, Co-Founder at Direct Medics, shared her vision for the partnership:

“This is the beginning of a four-year journey of shared learning and shared purpose. Together, we have the opportunity to elevate wellbeing, deepen connection, and embed our Culture of Care in ways that influence not only our organisation, but the wider communities our work touches.” She added: “Partnering with MindWise is an honour. For over 50 years, they have shaped mental health support across Northern Ireland, and we are proud to join them in this mission. At the heart of this partnership is a shared commitment to strengthening wellbeing and creating a culture where people genuinely feel cared for.

Fionnuala from MindWise expressed her enthusiasm:
“We are absolutely delighted to launch this partnership with Direct Medics and to be so warmly received by their team. Direct Medics truly aligns with our values of passion, respect, empathy, togetherness, openness, and transparency. This collaboration is more than a financial investment, it’s a commitment to creating environments where mental health is understood, stigma is challenged, and people feel supported. We look forward to working hand-in-hand to deliver training, share insights, and make a lasting impact on wellbeing across the organisation and the communities they serve.”

This partnership marks a significant step forward in promoting mental health awareness and embedding wellbeing into organisational culture. Together, MindWise and Direct Medics are building a future where mental health is prioritised, and every individual feels valued and supported.
