Important Update on MindWise Membership Structure

Mon, 22 - December - 2025

Following a comprehensive review and consultation earlier this year, MindWise members voted at our Annual General Meeting on 20 November 2025 to approve changes to our Articles of Association. These changes strengthen governance and client voice within our organisation.

What’s Changed?

  • Trustees are now the only legal company members.
  • A Client Advisory Forum (currently called Client Central) has been formally included to ensure clients’ voices are heard.
  • Our Articles have been modernised to align with the Companies Act 2006, and minor errors corrected.

What Does This Mean?

  • Previous company members who are not trustees will no longer hold legal company membership.
  • This does not affect service membership or access to MindWise services.

How Can You Stay Involved?

  • Clients: Join our Client Advisory Forum.
  • Staff: Engage through the People Working Group.
  • Supporters: Opt into our new Advisory Forum or volunteer with us.

For more details, visit https://www.mindwisenv.org or contact us at info@mindwisenv.org.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to shape the future of mental health services.
