The Anti-Poverty Strategy Group - Recommendations - Headlines

Thu, 28 - August - 2025

The Anti-Poverty Strategy Group, has published an updated version of its recommendations paper.

The original group was convened by the Minister for Communities in January 2021 to work alongside the Department for Communities to co-design an Anti-Poverty Strategy for Northern Ireland. In September 2022, the group released a comprehensive, evidence-based suite of recommendations on how an Anti-Poverty Strategy could meaningfully address poverty across Northern Ireland.

This updated version reflects the evolving societal, political, and economic context. It has been revised by group members to ensure it remains relevant and impactful.

MindWise has been involved in the group since 2021, contributing to the development of the strategy and, most recently, helping to present it to Minister Lyons.
