We're looking for a Director of Operations

Location:  Blended home and office working, based at head Office, Belfast, with travel throughout NI and occasionally ROI and UK

Salary Range: £53, 045 - £56, 228 (spine 9 points 9.0 - 9.6)

Hours: 37.5 hours

Duration: Permanent

To lead on the sustainable development and growth of MindWise’s Operational portfolio. Providing strategic leadership and management to the Operational Team, sustainably developing and growing MindWise’s and MHUK’s operational portfolio and lead on Client participation and engagement strategies. To proactively support the strategic direction of the organisation as a member of the Directors Team and lead on change management initiatives in a complex environment.

Actively representing the values of passion, respect, empathy and openness and transparency, setting, and reinforcing the standard for positive behaviours at all levels

What we ask for from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ recent experience working in an Operations role at a senior level
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of leading and managing a high performing team against key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Able to demonstrate experience of developing and leading on Operational strategies in support sustainable growth of the organisation
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of developing, monitoring, and controlling operational budgets, aiming to secure best value
  • Able to demonstrate experience of leading on continuous improvement (cost, quality, impact)
  • Knowledge and awareness of the issues affecting those with mental health issues and mental health policy environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate alignment with MindWise’s core values of Passion, Respect, Empathy, Togetherness, Openness & Transparency
  • Access to a car or reliable transport for business purposes
