Mums Wellness Project

The Mums Wellness Project is an early-stage intervention project for expectant mums & mums with a baby up to 1 year who are experiencing emotional health & wellbeing difficulties.

Hear from Sarah, a new mum, on how the Mums Wellness Project has changed her life.

The project aims to meet the maternal mental health needs at this perinatal stage & reduce need for referral to statutory adult community mental health services. The project works in partnership with the local Family Support Hub, healthcare professionals including GPs, Health Visitors, Midwives & other community / voluntary groups.

What we do

Becoming a mum can be an exhausting and daunting experience which might impact on your emotional health and wellbeing. The Mums Wellness Project offers an individualised 1-1 WRAP Programme to support mothers and expectant mothers to help manage difficult feelings and develop action plans to help them feel better.

The programme is delivered in your own home or locally for 8 to 10 weeks with sessions lasting approximately an hour.

Postponed due to COVID-19

Mums Wellness Weekly Drop In

Mums Wellness Project offers a weekly Drop In for mothers and expectant mums availing of the service. This is offered every Tuesday morning from 10-11.30 in Fermanagh House, Enniskillen. An opportunity to get out of the house and meet other mums along with your baby.

Mums Wellness Support Group

After completion of the 1-1 WRAP Programme mums can avail of the Mums Wellness Support Group. The Support Group is ran regularly within the local area throughout Fermanagh. Its an opportunity for women to come together in a safe and supportive environment for mutual support and strengthen social well-being.

A monthly Support Group is held the last Tuesday of each month in the Oak Healthy Living Centre, Lisnaskea and in Irvinestown, the first Tuesday of each month. From 7.30-9.30pm. A chance to have some time away and have a mummy moan and a laugh with other mums.
