Do the Monster Dash for MindWise

This Hallowe'en, join our virtual family friendly spooktacular where you can walk, jog, hopscotch, cycle or wheel in your scariest costume and raise money for people affected by mental illness in Northern Ireland.

Don't let that trick or treat costume go to waste!

2020 has been tough on all of us, but people living with mental illness are living through the pandemic cut off from vital services and support. Through our 30 services, MindWise are there for over 10,000 people a year and we want to reach even more people who need us through our services and our website.

You can help. Hallowe'en will look a bit different this year.  While there may be few parties or Trick or Treaters, don't let that costume go to waste!

Sign up to our Monster Dash and run, jog, hopscotch, cycle, walk or wheel the distance of your choice with your family, or by undertake your own Monster Marathon.

Do something a bit different this Hallowe'en and raise much needed funds that will support thousands of people affected by mental illness in Northern Ireland.

It's easy to sign up!

Step 1: What monster are you?

Mini Monster 1k - For the little goblins and ghouls out there. Walk or run 1k and set a suggested target of £100.

Mega Monster 5k - For the park run poltergeists! Take the 5k challenge with a suggested fundraising target of £500

Marathon Monster 10k - For the 26-miler monsters! Run or walk 10k and the sky's the limit with your fundraising target!

Step 2: Set up your fundraising page

Click, "Start fundraising" to set up your fundraising page on JustGiving. Select, "Do Your Own Thing".

You can also download a sponsorship form if you'd prefer to collect money in person , but due to Covid-19 we do prefer that you collect money online to protect yourself by avoiding handling cash.

Share your page on your own social media and spread the word! Encourage your friends and family to support you by donating. 

Step 3: Do the monster dash!

Have fun while making a real difference in the lives of people living with mental illness in Northern Ireland. Don't forget to take pictures and share them to social media using the hashtag #MindWiseMonsterMash! We want to see your costumes!

When you've completed your event, you'll receive your very own personalised certificate to say thanks.
