Rebranded Rethink

In 2002 NSF changed its operating name to Rethink – to acknowledge the fact that the organisation had developed and was now serving a wider client group than solely those with a diagnosis of schizophrenia, and also to enable it to campaign more effectively, by calling on the public to rethink their  attitudes to severe mental illness.

The new identity was distinctive and forward-looking, and Rethink became the leading membership mental health charity with a mission to improve the lives of those affected by severe mental illness. Rethink’s mission statement reflected this. Working together to help everyone affected by severe mental illness recover a better quality of life.
