| MindWise AGM 1st June 2010 |
|
It is hard to believe, but MindWise (formerly known as Rethink in Northern Ireland) celebrated our first anniversary of becoming an independent mental health charity operating in Northern Ireland on 1st April 2010.
I am delighted to report that our transition from being part of a national charity to independence was a smooth and most successful exercise. Since our de-merger, locally we have introduced new services to support those affected by severe mental illness and other mental health difficulties including the Northern Ireland Appropriate Adult scheme, and our profile has never been higher.
As we complete our first year of operations as an independent charity, we intend to hold our first ever MindWise Annual General Meeting on the 1st of June 2010, to report on operations over the past twelve months and also to outline some planned developments for the year ahead.
The MindWise Annual General Meeting will be held on 1st June 2010 at Grosvenor House, Glengall Street, Belfast between 3.30pm and 4.30pm (arrivals, tea and coffee from 3.00pm).
